Places to eat on Staten Island

I’ve put together a list of places you should try once you’ve purchased a home on the Island. Many of these have placed on notable “Best of” lists from sites like Zagat, Yelp, Thrillist, Trip Adviser, Eater.com and the Staten Island Advance.

Pizza

Denino’s is on almost everyone’s list of best pizza places to eat. Noted for its “phenomenal” pizzas and "remarkable" crusts that are crispy. If you’re looking for takeout, a great place to try with locations all over the Island is Prontos. Noted for serving delicious pizza and Italian cuisine made from the freshest ingredients with fast, courteous home delivery.

Must Try

Three of my personal favorites are the restaurants owned by chef Julian Gaxholli. Blue which is an American Mediterranean restaurant, Bayou which is a New Orleans Cajun restaurant and Beso which is a Spanish cuisine. All three have made numerous Best of lists.
